The trip to Singapore and Malaysia 4 （シンガポール・マレーシア旅行４）

Yesterday I moved to Malaysia. Before that I tried bak kut teh and that was great! I loved it!𿘍
昨日マレーシアに移動しました。その前にバクテーを食べましたがすごくおいしかったです！　気に入りました！𿘍

I went to Malaysia by bus. The seat was big and comfortable. It was better than seats of business class of plane. I heard it takes 5 or 6 hours from Singapore to Kuala Lumpur, although, we were stuck in traffic so that it took over 8 hours! We arrived at Kuala Lumpur just passed 9 p.m.𿘂
マレーシアにはバスで行きました。シートは大きくて座り心地がよかったです。飛行機のビジネスクラスのシートよりよかったです。シンガポールからクアラルンプールへは５、６時間かかると聞いていたのですが、渋滞にはまったため８時間以上かかりました！　クアラルンプールに着いたのは午後９時過ぎでした。𿘂

I have one more thing, about the cost of the bus.
もう一つ。バスの料金について。

The paper on a wall of the bus company said it costs S$30 from Singapore to Kuala Lumpur. I saw that, and then I entered the office of the company and tried to make a reservation of a bus.
バス会社の張り紙にはシンガポールからクアラルンプールまで３０シンガポールドルと書いてありました。私はそれを見て、それからバス会社のオフィスに入りバスの予約をしようとしました。

Me: I want to get on a bus leaving here at 1230.
Staff: Okay, $20.
私：１２時半にここを出るバスに乗りたいんですが。
スタッフ：かしこまりました、２０ドルです。

$20!? Ah, maybe the cost might depend on the leaving time. Of course I don’t mind if it’s cheaper. I was going to pass her my credit card...
２０ドル！？　えーと、たぶん料金は出発時間によるのでしょう。もちろん安いなら気にしません。私はスタッフにクレジットカードを渡そうとしました。

Staff: Sorry, do you have cash?
Me: Oh ... I only have $15 cash.
Staff: Well ... is it okay that you get on the bus leaving here at 1300? It will be $10.
Me: !??
スタッフ：申し訳ありません、現金はお持ちですか？
私：ああ……１５ドルしかありません。
スタッフ：そうですね……１３時出発のバスに乗ってもらってもいいですか？　それなら１０ドルです。

$10!? It’s cheaper than ez-link card (IC card used in Singapore for public transportation)! It’s also cheaper than the dinner I ate last night! 𿘂
１０ドル！？　EZリンクカードより安いじゃないか！（EZリンクカードとはシンガポールの公共交通機関を利用ために使われているICカード）。昨日の夕飯より安い！𿘂

I ended up getting on the $10 bus. I found the cost system sloppy ...
結局１０ドルのバスに乗りました。料金システムが雑だなあ……。
