Curry udon (カレーうどん)

This is curry udon. It is udon put into curry literally. The udon is not visible in the picture though.

Japanese people like curry, so there are a lot of food in this country that have curry flavor. Curry-flavored chicken, curry-flavored deep fried fish, curry-flavored simmered dish, ...

The curry of curry udon tastes milder and deeper than standard one. That’s because the curry is mixed up with udon broth.

The restaurant I went is in Meguro, Tokyo. There were many foreign people eating it. Is curry udon known well in countries overseas by any chance?
