Stew rice (シチューライス)

I ate stew rice for dinner last night because I forgot that today was Setsubun. Stew rice is stew on rice, like curry rice. Even though it’s not very common, I like eating stew this way.

The ingredients in the stew are almost the same as my Japanese curry. The biggest difference is the rouxs, so if you can cook Japanese curry, you can also cook stew. You can easily buy both curry roux stocks and stew roux stocks at supermarkets or convenience stores in Japan.
